Ossipee Fire Victims All In Stable Condition

45 people are displaced from the ossipee fire in a 15-Unit apartment building. NH Fire Marshal says all victims are in stable condition

OSSIPEE, NH - New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Paul J. Parisi and Ossipee Corner Fire Chief Adam Riley announced an update for the 3rd alarm fire at an apartment building on Route 16 in Ossipee.

The investigation has revealed that a fire occurred within an apartment unit on the third floor of the building.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by members of the NH State Fire Marshal’s Office. Several victims have been treated and released.

Three victims remain hospitalized but fortunately all victims have been upgraded to stable condition.

The ages of the victims that remain hospitalized at Dartmouth Hitchock are:
1-month-old female. 19-year-old female, 17-year-old female


NH State Fire Marshal Parisi would like to remind all New Hampshire citizens of the importance of having working smoke alarms in your home. Create and practice a home fire escape plan with your family. In the event of a fire, immediately exit your residence, call 9-1-1 and stay outside.
