Victim Identified From Fatal Crash At Hooksett Tollbooth

New Hampshire State Police have identified Jake Colbert, 32, of Manchester, as the victim of the fatal crash Feb. 28.

HOOKSETT, NH — On Feb. 28, 2020 at 1:55 a.m. New Hampshire state troopers, along with the Hooksett Fire Department responded to a report of a crash on Interstate 93 South at the Hooksett Toll Plaza. Upon arrival, they discovered that a 2017 Subaru Forester had struck one of the manned toll booths and caught fire. The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was unable to be revived.

State police have identified the victim as Jake Colbert, 32, of Manchester.

The toll attendant who had been working in the booth was not injured. However, he was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
