Daughter Accused Of Fatally Stabbing Mother Who Died From Stab Wound To The Neck
Brynn Comtois, 24, is accused of stabbing Cheryl Stoddard, 45, to death at the Rockingham Village apartment complex in Seabrook.

SEABROOK, NH — A 24-year-old woman is accused of fatally stabbing her mother in a Seabrook apartment building Sunday night.
Brynn Comtois, 24, was taken into custody on a charge of second-degree murder in the death of her mother, Cheryl Stoddard, 45. Seabrook police officers responded to a 911 call at the Rockingham Village Apartments in Seabrook at approximately 11:18 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Cheryl Stoddard deceased with what appeared to be a stab wound.
An arrest warrant was issued for Comtois, charging her with recklessly causing Cheryl Stoddard's death. Comtois has been arrested, and her arraignment is expected to be scheduled soon.

Update: An autopsy completed Monday found that the cause of death was a single stab wound to the neck, and the manner of death is classified as a homicide.
New Hampshire State Police Major Crime investigators were at the Rockingham Village Apartment complex Monday morning. Investigators were processing the scene and could be seen bringing evidence bags from the building.

At this time, the NH Attorney General’s Office says all people involved have been identified and there is no danger to the public.
