Hampton Police Seek Tips About Suspect Accused Of Slashing Tires

Cops are investigating 9 vehicles vandalized in a parking lot off Ashworth Avenue early Monday; Crimeline for the Hamptons seeks tips.

HAMPTON, NH — Police in Hampton are asking for the public’s help investigating multiple vehicles vandalized in a parking lot off Ashworth Avenue early Monday morning.

Around 1 a.m., police were sent to the lot after finding out tires had been slashed, Capt. Anthony Azarian of the Hampton Police Department said.

“Upon arrival on scene, officers observed nine vehicles with tires that had apparently been slashed,” he said. “A suspect was captured on area video surveillance puncturing numerous tires.”

The person has not been identified, but investigators are working to determine their identity.

“All aspects of this case remain under investigation, and as such,” he added, “limited information is being released at this time.”
