Londonderry Man Drove Car Into Ocean In North Hampton: Grand Jury
A 43-year-old man from Londonderry is facing felony charges stating he put others in danger by driving into the ocean in North Hampton.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Londonderry man who reportedly drove into the ocean in North Hampton has been indicted on several felony charges at Rockingham County Superior Court. Vincent Richard Medugno, 43, of Londonderry, was indicted this month on three counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon in connection with the May 17 incident.
According to the indictments, he placed members of the public in potential risk by driving off the road and into the ocean. In addition, he almost struck a 27-year-old person and a 31-year-old person when he did so, the indictments state.
According to WMUR, Medugno was driving a Honda during the incident. The vehicle landed partially in the ocean.

The incident occurred in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Boulevard, according to the indictments.
All three charges against Medugno are Class B felonies. Each of them carries a maximum possible sentence of 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison if he is convicted.
