North Hampton Subway Restaurant Robbed Thursday

North Hampton police are seeking the public's help in apprehending a man who made off with an undisclosed amount of cash Thursday night after knocking off the Subway restaurant at 7 Lafayette Road.

Detective Steve Janvrin said a 6-foot-tall, 150-pound white man with blue eyes entered the store around 8:20 p.m. and demanded money from the employee behind the counter.

No one was injured during the incident, and the man — who was dressed in dark clothing with a knit hat and gloves and used a scarf to cover part of his face — fled on foot in an undisclosed direction, according to Janvrin.

Janvrin said his department is "asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, even if they spoke to an officer on scene," to contact police.

Images from Subway's surveillance cameras weren't immediately available.

Janvrin asked anyone with knowledge of this or any other crimes to contact him at (603) 964-2198, ext. 3001, or at sjanvrin@northhampton-nh.gov.
