HAMPTON, NH — A Seacoast man is facing felony charges after being accused of pointing a handgun at another person during a road rage incident Monday.

Around 7:45 a.m., police were sent to Towle Farm Road, not far from Liberty Lane, for a criminal threatening report. Police spoke to a complainant who reported a gun being pointed at them during a possible road rage incident, Chief Alex Reno of the Hampton Police Department said.

“The calling party was able to follow the vehicle to the parking lot of an area business and contacted the police department,” he said.

After speaking to him and finding “a firearm that matched the description of the firearm that was alleged to have been used in the reported threat,” he was arrested, a report stated.

Breslin was charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and criminal threatening-conduct with a firearm, both felonies. He was released on personal recognizance. Breslin is due in Hampton District Court on May 7.
