North Hampton Town Clerk/Tax Collector Susan Buchanan has announced the filing dates to sign up for North Hampton elected positions begins on Wednesday, Jan. 22, and ends at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31.
The following town positions are open:
1 Moderator, 2 year term
1 Selectman, 3 year term
1 Town Treasurer, 1 year term
1 Supervisor of the Checklist, 6 year term
1 Trustee of the Library, 3 year term
2 Budget Committee members, 3 year term
1 Trustee of the Cemetery, 3 year term
2 Planning Board members, 3 year term
1 Water Commissioner, 3 year term
2 Zoning Board of Adjustment members, 3 year term
1 Trustee of the Trust Funds, 3 year term
The following School positions are open:
1 North Hampton School Board member, 3 year term
Interested North Hampton residents may sign up at the Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s Office at 237 Atlantic Avenue. Office hours are Monday 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with extended hours on Friday, Jan. 31, until 5 p.m.
The town of North Hampton’s deliberative session will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at North Hampton Town Hall. Elections will take place at North Hampton Town Hall from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 11.
