After Mental Health Crisis Call, Manchester Police Find Person Deceased
Police were around English Village Road on Friday morning as part of a search effort.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police were sent to the area of English Village Road on Friday morning for a report of a person experiencing a mental health crisis.
Police were sent to the area just before 9 a.m., according to Manchester Police Lt. Matthew Barter. Officers searched the area on foot and with a drone. The body of the person in question was found just before 10 a.m. by the drone unit, he said.
“Officers on the ground were guided to the location, where they unfortunately discovered the individual was deceased,” Barter said. “The Manchester Fire Department and Manchester AMR also responded to and assisted during this incident.”

Detectives and the chief medical examiner also responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation. He said the death does not appear suspicious. The name of the person was not released pending notification of the next of kin.
