Here are the top three stories in Manchester today:
- Artists in Manchester can submit an application to have their work displayed in City Hall this year. The Manchester Arts Commission has transformed the historic City Hall into an everchanging art gallery that will display the work of talented artists, photographers, and more each month. Those who are interested can submit up to 10 pictures here for the opportunity to be displayed in the historic hall. (Manchester Ink Link)
- The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire in nearby Londonderry is launching a new summer camp targeting middle and high schoolers who have an interest in flight with the final day capped off with pizza delivered by helicopter. The "Flights of Discovery" camp will run for four weeks from Jul. 10 through Aug. 3. Two sessions will have 20 students max and will allow students to participate through various hands-on activities and learning opportunities such as behind-the-scenes field trips and even a flight simulator. - The U.S. Marshals are currently requesting assistance from the public in a search for a man who is wanted on attempted murder charges in both Manchester and nearby Goffstown. Officers are looking for 20-year-old Deandre Anglade who is alleged to be armed and dangerous. Angelade was involved in a 2022 shooting and burglary in Goffstown and a separate shooting back in 2019 in Manchester. There is a $5,000 award for any information leading to his arrest, and he is believed to have retreated to either Florida or Texas. If anyone has any information, please contact the USMS Tip Hotline.
