Here are the top three stories today in Manchester:

  1. A fatal crash on Granite Street involving two vehicles occurred on Thursday evening, resulting in the death of a 32-year-old passenger. The driver of one of the vehicles sustained serious injuries, while the other driver suffered minor injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation. (WMUR)
  2. U.S. Marshals arrested Desmel Cooper, 40, for his alleged involvement in a stabbing incident in Manchester earlier this year. Cooper was apprehended in New York and brought back to New Hampshire to face charges relating to the incident, which took place in February behind the 603 Bar & Grill on Elm Street. The altercation started inside the bar and escalated into the alley, leaving one man with severe injuries. (WMUR)
  3. June Trisciani has launched her campaign for Mayor of Manchester. Trisciani has previously served on the Manchester Heritage Commission and Planning Board and was elected as Alderman-at-Large in 2021.
