- The 15th annual Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship was held on Saturday at the SNHU Arena in Manchester. Team Fire and Team Police delivered a spirited game with Team Police winning 5-1 while raising funds for the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. The annual event is a major annual hit for sports fans in the Manchester area. (Manchester Ink Link)
- Raymond Moore is being ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation after being charged in the stabbing death of a 75-year-old in Manchester. Moore is accused of killing Daniel Whitmore on a walking trail in September 2022. The mental health evaluation has not yet been scheduled. (WMUR9)
- Last Thursday, Mayor Joyce Craig announced that she is not interested in running for re-election as Mayor of Manchester once she finishes her current third term in office. Craig was elected in 2017 and was the first woman mayor of Manchester. Of the decision, Craig said, "After discussions with family and friends, I’ve decided not to seek re-election. I’m thankful for the trust residents placed in me, and I’ll always be a champion for Manchester." (Patch)

- Yesterday, Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg honored two officers who have gone above and beyond for the department and community.
