MANCHESTER, NH — Great food and fun will be on the menu as the Queen City Rotary Club hosts its annual comedy bowl fundraiser later this month.
The annual event, which includes a buffet dinner, comedy show, and cash bar, will take place on Saturday, Jan. 31, at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester.
“The comedy bowl is one of our most important fundraisers,” Alisha Cahall of the Queen City Rotary Club said. “And 100% of the proceeds from the event will directly benefit youth charities and agencies across Greater Manchester.”

According to Heather Francoeur, the president of the Queen City Rotary Club, the Club donates more than $50,000 each year to area non-profits that serve children in need.
“Our club, through donations and community service, is dedicated to supporting a host of critical safety net organizations, and we invite the community to join us for this impactful fundraiser,” she said.
The event will feature comedians Mark Riley, Kyle Crawford, and Will Noonan. Attendees are also invited to participate in a silent auction, a 50-50 raffle, and other raffles. Tickets to the event are $50/person.
Major sponsors of the event include Clark Insurance, Crown Chimney, Elliot Health System, Eastern Propone, Harvey Construction, and Rockland Trust.
“The comedy bowl is a wonderful and fun night out,” Cahall said. “Now, maybe more than ever, youth-focused non-profits are playing transformational roles for kids in need, and this event directly supports that.”
She added that there are still some excellent sponsorship opportunities available for the event, which attracts 500 people.
