Are Potholes a Problem in Merrimack?
Several Merrimack residents say potholes are popping up all over town.
When town residents experienced the first two major snow storms of the season followed by freezing cold temperatures followed by a January thaw, they weren't surprised when they started to see potholes.
On Facebook, several Merrimack residents said they are already swerving to avoid potholes on several roads that could be a boon to auto repair shops, but certainly a pain to most drivers.
Amy Williams wrote that they are "Everywhere!"
Lorenzo Di Paola wrote on Facebook that he is seeing potholes on Baboosic Lake Road and Bedford Road. Tracy Carl noted there are some potholes on Wire Road.
Town Public Works crews were just finished working multiple shifts to clear the snow from town roads after the last major snow storm struck over a week ago are now scrambling to fill those potholes.
In the meantime, Merrimack drivers will have to keep a sharp eye out for any potholes they may encounter to protect their cars' from sustaining any damage.
