Local Man Arrested for False Imprisonment

Police say Michael M. Ozog, 47, allegedly locked another person in his home on Jan. 7 and refused to let them leave.

A Merrimack man who police say locked another person in his home and refused to let them leave was arrested and held on cash bail.

Michael M. Ozog, 47, was held on $1,000 cash bail following his arrest on Jan. 7 and he was scheduled to be arraigned in Merrimack Circuit Court on Jan. 8, according to the press release issued by Merrimack Police Capt. Peter Albert.

Ozog was arrested after police responded to his residence during the afternoon and found that he had been in a heated argument with another subject. Police also found that Ozog had locked the front door and stood outside to prevent the subject from leaving.

Albert said that Ozog was held on $1,000 cash bail or corporate surety.
