Local Man Arrested for Selling Marijuana
Police say that Ethan Derost was selling marijuana out of his home prior to his arrest.

A Merrimack man was arrested on Monday for selling marijuana in town following a lengthy Merrimack Police undercover investigation.
Ethan Durost, 19, of 3 Birch St. was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and three counts of unlawful sale of a controlled drug, according to Merrimack Police Capt. Peter Albert.
Albert said police began their month-long undercover investigation after they started to receive information that Durost was selling quantities of marijuana out of his home.
"Undercover officers were able to purchase quantities of Marijuana from Durost on three separate occasions. Police then applied for and were granted a search warrant for Durost’s residence as well as an arrest warrant for him," wrote Albert in the Merrimack Police press release.
Durost was taken into custody without incident at his home which was searched and an additional quantity of marijuana was discovered, according to Albert. He added that police are continuing their investigation into other occupants of the home and further charges are expected.

Durost was held on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in the 9th Circuit Court, District Division, Merrimack on Feb. 11.
