Senate Republican Leader John Thune offered an exchange: A promised scheduled vote on the Obamacare subsidy that Democrats are using to hold the government hostage in exchange for opening the government on the clean CR. Pass the CR, and we’ll set a hard date for a vote on your subsidies.
According to reports, Chuckie Schumer said no debate, no consideration, no democracy. No deal. Give us what we want, or the government stays closed. No one gets paid.

I suppose we should revisit what they want. They want to send many millions to foreign nations for nonsense projects, which we reported on Thursday, but the big one is making COVID-Era Obamacare subsidies permanent. Forever. No further debate or consideration. No democracy. Reinstate inflated adjustments from the no-longer-existent pandemic or no-deal.
Those include taxpayer-supported health plans for non-citizens, but that’s not all they do.
