Merrimack Crime Roundup: Stabbing Threat, Animal Cruelty
Arrests on charges of animal cruelty, criminal threatening and domestic violence were reported by Merrimack police for Aug. 28 to Sept. 11.

MERRIMACK, NH — Incidents including animal cruelty, threatening with a knife and a vehicle accident involving a mail box were reported by the Merrimack police for the time period of Aug. 28 to Sept. 11. Arrests do not indicate guilt. The names of any minors have been omitted.
Friday, Aug. 30 — Ashley McLean, 28, of Nashua, was charged with four counts of violating a protective order. Police say that she had sent text messages to a person with whom she was prohibited from having contact, per a court order, on four occasions.

Dylan Cote, 18, of Londonderry, was charged with two counts of violating a protective order. Police say that earlier in August he sent two text messages to a person with whom he was prohibited from having contact, per order from Merrimack District Court.
Saturday, Aug. 31 — Susan Murotake-Rollins, 38, was charged with domestic simple assault. Police say she pushed a person who was known to her.

Sunday, Sept. 1 — Joseph Browne, 20, of Merrimack, was charged with facilitating an underage drinking party. Police say that he facilitated a party on on Joppa Road where alcohol was involved, with most of the guests being under the age of 21 years old.
Monday, Sept. 2 — John L. Lambert, 47, of Merrimack, was charged with domestic simple assault. Police say he punched someone known to him during an argument.
Cody Fortier, 25, of Amherst, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol. Police say that he drove off the road road and into a tree and a mailbox on Wilson Hill Road, and then showed signs of being impaired.
Tuesday, Sept. 3 — Brandon Groves, 25, was charged with burglary and theft by unauthorized taking. Police say he was arrested after a suspect was trying to enter a Merrimack home using a ladder. When police arrived, Groves was loading an air conditioning unit into his vehicle and was later found to have envelopes with cash, which police say had been stolen from the home. Police say additional charges against Groves are possible, due to police having searched his vehicle after the arrest.
Tuesday, Sept. 10 — Nathaniel Herman, 20, was charged with two counts of domestic violence. Police say he struck someone on the side of the ear and head during a domestic argument earlier in the day.

Sarbelio Lorenzo-Zacarias, 33, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was charged with felony criminal threatening and misdemeanor animal cruelty. Police say he threatened to stab someone with a knife, and also took someone's dog and threatened to stab the dog. According to police, Lorenzo-Zacarias left after the incident before police arrival, but was later found on the property after police conducted a search. After the arrest, police learned Lorenzo-Zacarias was not in the United States legally. He was placed on a detainer by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to the Merrimack police.
