Merrimack Fire Respond To Injured Youth ATV Rider Who Flipped Over
The operator was grooming trails when a tow behind rake became entangled in the machine. The operator was transported with serious injuries.

MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack Fire, police, and New Hampshire Fish and Game responded to an ATV accident Friday at the Joe Simeone Memorial ATV Park off Lawrence Road.
A youth operator was grooming the trail at about 5 p.m. with a tow behind rake when the rake entangled the rear wheel, flipping the machine, according to Sgt. Kevin Bronson. The youth was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Merrimack police and conservation officers investigated and found the operator was wearing a full-faced helmet, which mitigated the extent of the injuries.
