Merrimack High School Top 10: Allison Pikora, No. 4

MERRIMACK, NH — Allison Pikora is honored to be recognized as part of the top ten for Merrimack High School’s class of 2023!

Allison has enjoyed challenging herself academically for the last four years with honors and AP classes. Through the guidance of many wonderful teachers, she has developed a love for science and math and using these topics to ask questions about the world. She was awarded the Tom Robinson Award for Science in 2022, and this year, she earned ultimate bragging rights by taking home first place in the AP Chemistry Science Fair. Next year, Allison plans to study Chemical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute with the goal of using her abilities to implement humanitarian solutions that make the world a better place.

Outside of the classroom, Allison has been involved in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including Marching Band, Concert Band, Girls Soccer, Quizbowl, Granite State Challenge, National Honor Society, and Badminton Club. Specifically, being a part of the Merrimack Music Department since the 5th grade has brought her great joy. She is incredibly grateful for the relationships and memories she has formed through the program and the many opportunities it has given her to grow as a musician and a person. Allison is also very proud of her accomplishments as a Quizbowl and Granite State Challenge team member. Since joining, the team has won the NH Quizbowl League state championship and 2 Granite State Challenge championships.
