Merrimack High School Top 10: Kaitlin Brooks, No. 7

MERRIMACK, NH — Kaitlin Brooks is honored to be recognized as one of the Merrimack High School Top 10 for the Class of 2025.

She would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for their constant support, encouragement, and inspiration throughout her high school years.

Kaitlin has developed a strong passion for both chemistry and mathematics, and she has especially appreciated the wide range of challenging Advanced Placement (AP) courses offered at Merrimack High School. These courses allowed her to push herself academically and seek out new challenges with each successive year. She is deeply grateful to the teachers who supported her through these rigorous classes and helped cultivate her love for learning.

Outside the classroom, Kaitlin found joy in collaborating with her peers and contributing to her community. One of her most meaningful experiences was serving as a lead ski instructor in Cannon Mountain’s seasonal program, where she guided young skiers and shared her enthusiasm for the sport.

Kaitlin is excited to continue her academic journey at Iowa State University, where she will pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering. She looks forward to exploring new opportunities, engaging in hands-on learning, and continuing to challenge herself in the years ahead.
