Merrimack High School Top 10: Lina Eldeib, No. 3

The Class of 2025 student plans on dual-majoring in chemical engineering/chemistry and wishes everyone the best in their future endeavors.

MERRIMACK, NH — Lina Eldeib is honored to be recognized among the Top 10 graduating seniors of Merrimack High School’s Class of 2025.

She would like to thank her parents, siblings — especially her twin sister Noor, friends and teachers who have continuously supported her throughout her time at MHS. She would like to deeply thank three particular teachers, Mr. Farnsworth, Dr. Campbell and Mrs. Dumais, whose tremendous impact has helped shape the person and student she is today.

After growing up in Egypt, Lina moved to Merrimack her sophomore year and immediately immersed herself in the culture of MHS. Lina enjoyed a wide variety of subjects but found herself the most engaged in math and science courses. Her favorite classes include Honors and AP Chemistry, AP Physics 2, and AP Calculus. During her junior year, she was proud to receive both the Chemistry and Physics Awards at the MHS Underclassmen Award Ceremony.

Beyond academics, Lina has participated in numerous extracurriculars at MHS. Some of her favorite involvements include Yarn Club, Hawk Newspaper Club, Interact Club, National Honor Society, Math National Honor Society, Badminton Club, Science Olympiad and Science National Honor Society in which she has served as the secretary.

Lina is also a multi-sport athlete. She was a part of a canoeing team her freshman year and competed for the Merrimack tennis and volleyball teams, receiving the Coaches Award for volleyball and Rookie of the Year for tennis her sophomore year. During her senior year, Lina earned the NHIAA and NHADA Scholar Athlete Award.

In her free time, Lina enjoys surrounding herself with friends, crocheting, playing the piano, exploring different cuisines and listening to calm melodies.

Lina plans on dual-majoring in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. She would like to sincerely congratulate the Class of 2025 and wish everyone the best in their future endeavors.
