MERRIMACK, NH — Samantha “Sam” Martin is honored to be ranked 7th academically in the MHS class of 2024.
As a student at Merrimack High School, Sam has been dedicated to learning and taking honors and AP courses both in the classroom and on VLACs for all four years. She is especially passionate about the field of biology, as she took as many high-level scientific courses as possible. Sam is also involved in the arts as a dedicated member of the Merrimack band since fifth grade. She has held the position of first chair of French horn since her freshman year, has participated in the solo and ensemble festival all four years, was selected as drum major in her junior year, and was accepted into the competitive all-state festival in her senior year. The Merrimack music program has impacted her life incredibly through friendships and experiences that she would not trade for the world.
