Merrimack Motivators New Icebreakers and Guest wins Table Topics

Rainy Night at Merrimack Motivators Toastmasters Club with two people breaking the ice and a riveting impromptu speaking Table Topics!

Stepping was the theme of this week's Merrimack Motivators Toastmasters Club and it really showed tonight. This club really stepped it up by completing all the tasks to win the coveted "Select Distinguished Toastmaster" award for 2017-2018.

Kathy's organization as being the Toastmaster really showed tonight as she kicked off the theme of "stepping up."

Juliana and Joe took the initiative and broke the ice with their first speeches tonight. They were bold and personal. We look forward to hearing more speeches from them.

The world needs leaders. Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish, they must communicate.

By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program. Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. During their journey, they learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback—and accept it. Through our community of learners, they find their path to leadership.Visit www.toastmasters.org for more information.
