Merrimack Motivators Toastmasters Gift-giving Speaking Practice!!
This speaking club was spreading the yuletide cheer with a gift exchange, impromptu speaking and Gary getting us to buy grading software

It was the Merrimack Motivators Toastmasters Club final meeting of 2018.
Gary was featured speaker. He did a brilliant job on getting us, not to purchase text books, but software that helps teaching assistants and professors.
Plus, Joe led the gift exchange - Table Topics combo part of the meeting. In this impromptu speaking session, guest Rhonda took home the prize for the best speech with how useful chocolate can be.

But many good impromptu speeches were also made. John starting a snowball fight, Dan receiving Buckley's pastries, Anne getting hot chocolate, Madame Rose selling preserves, Gary with his poison machine, Laurie with her hygge candle, Lauren receiving a cool tea holder, Joe with his frame but no tree, and Jerome introduced to Pez were all entertaining.
New guests are always welcome.

The world needs leaders. Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish, they must communicate.
By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program. Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. During their journey, they learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback—and accept it. Through our community of learners, they find their path to leadership.Visit www.toastmasters.org for more information.
