Merrimack Parade Attended By Thousands Of People Who Braved The Rain

Clowns, marching bands, floats, and politicians strolled through Merrimack to crowds lined up early for the annual 4th of July parade.

MERRIMACK, NH — The rain didn't deter a huge crowd that came out to line the parade route for the annual Fourth of July parade.

Some people set up chairs hours before the parade, backed their cars in to get a spot, and waited for the parade to start. The parade began on the Daniel Webster Highway and continued down to Baboosic Lake Road and spanned for more than a mile.

Just as the parade started, the rain began to fall but very few people left the spots they had scouted out. Local politicians and presidential candidates worked the crowd handing out pamphlets and shaking hands.
