Merrimack Woman Killed During Head-On Crash In Nashua Saturday: Update
The victim was a 38-year-old woman; a passenger was seriously injured, while 3 people inside a Jeep were also injured on Amherst Street.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua police have released additional information about the fatal head-on accident that occurred Saturday in the area of 426 Amherst St. in Nashua.
The driver of the white Honda Civic was a 38-year-old woman from Merrimack and the cause of death appeared to be the result of the accident, police said. A passenger in the Honda was a 40-year-old man, also from Merrimack, who is listed as living at the same address as the woman who died. The jeep operator was a 24-year-old woman from Warner, whose passengers were a 25-year-old man from Manchester, NH, and a 2-year-old, all of whom suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to Nashua Police Public Information Officer Sgt. John Cinelli.
Cinelli said the accident investigation had not been completed and no identities of those involved were released.

Initial information released by Nashua police Sunday stated the driver of a Honda Civic crossed a median into oncoming traffic.
Nashua Fire Rescue, AMR Ambulance, and Nashua Police responded Saturday afternoon to the head-on collision. While units were responding, they were advised there was possible entrapment, one vehicle was on fire, and CPR was in progress on the occupants of one of the vehicles.
