Merrimack's Ice Skating Rink Now Open for Season

Check the DPW Facebook page for ice conditions throughout the season.

The ice-skating rink located behind the tennis courts on O’Gara Drive is open for the season.  The Parks and Recreation Department has replaced the rink this year, and the recent favorable conditions have made it possible to prepare the ice for skating. The ice-skating rink will be open to the public, as weather permits, seven days a week with the lights on from 4:30-10 p.m.

A group of dedicated volunteers will groom the ice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. On these evenings the rink will be closed to skaters at 8:30 p.m.

Current ice conditions will be posted on the Merrimack Department of Public Works Facebook page.  Call the Public Works Department at 423-8551 or the Parks and Recreation office at 882-1046 with any questions.
