How do you know the teacher?
She is my daughter.
What does this person teach?
Speacial Ed. She has been a para-professional for 25 years. She has done some amazing work with her students. Some of them still remember her years later and give her a hug, or a parent will come up to her to thank her for her caring, patience, and teaching.
Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
I have watched how parents and students approach her and thank her. This happens a lot, no matter where we go, in a restaurant or store.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
She truly cares about her students and their success in life.
