Town Council Continues Budget Review
Filing period for April 8 Town Election announced; School bus drivers needed.

Town Council meeting: The Town Council will hold its second meeting regarding the proposed $30.7 million 2014-2015 municipal budget at 6 p.m. at the Town Offices.
Filing period announced: Merrimack officials announced the 2014 Town Meeting election filing period this week. Candidates can file their papers from Wednesday, Feb. 19, to Friday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. to run in the April 8 town election.
School budget presented: Members of the Merrimack School Board presented their proposed 2014-2015 budget of more than $68.7 million to the public on Wednesday night that calls for a 2.63 percent increase over this year's school budget. The School Board held a budget hearing on Monday night and will hold more public hearings this month.
Need to get rid of your Christmas tree: The town's Transfer Station will continue to accept Christmas trees in the brush pile free of charge for residents who need a place to dispose of their trees.
School bus drivers wanted: Need some part-time income? The Merrimack School District needs some school bus drivers. Details can be found on the Merrimack Schools home page.
