Merrimack School District officials announced the filing period for elected school district candidates on Wednesday morning. According to Patricia Heinrick, the school district clerk, the filing period will begin on Feb. 19 at 8 a.m. and close on Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. The Merrimack School District elected offices that will be decided by voters at the April 8 Town Meeting are as follows: <ul><li>One member of the School Board, 3 year term</li><li>Two members of the Planning and Building Committee, 3 year term</li><li>Four members of the School District Budget Committee, 3 year term </li></ul>Merrimack residents who are registered voters may file their candidacies at the Superintendent's office on those dates.
