A four-car crash on the Everett Turnpike compounded the existing rainy day commute for motorists in the wake of the crash.
A state police dispatcher said the accident happened around 2 p.m. near Exit 7E northbound.
The photo, submitted by a reader, shows a FedEx truck and a car toward the center and another SUV toward the right of the photo. Skid marks, indicate where another vehicle went off the roadway, according to the reader.
Police did not yet have details on what happened or whether there were any injuries. The crash slowed traffic in both directions due to rubber-necking.
