A Patch Perk: Reserved Parking at City Hall

Imagine my fleeting delight when I spotted this sign at City Hall: "Reserved for Naomi Patch." I was thrilled that Mayor Lozeau had created a special parking space for me – even with the blatant misspelling of "Nashua Patch – given I was there to pay a parking fine, this was truly my lucky day. No more hoarding change; no more circling for "free spots" while depleting my liquid gold gas; no more hoofing it in the rain to take a photo of Main Street construction crews. Then, I discovered that there is actually a "Naomi" Patch, she's the Accounts Payable Coordinator for the city, and that this primo parking spot belongs to her. I'm also told she earned the spot due to a mobility issue. Guess I'll keep feeding the meters.
