Attleboro, MA Man Arrested In Connection With 2021 Nashua Theft

NASHUA, NH — An Attleboro, Massachusetts man was arrested Tuesday and is accused of stealing items from a Nashua store in 2021. The suspect also is wanted in the state of Connecticut in connection with another robbery, Nashua police said.

Julien Vasquez, 29, has been charged with theft by unauthorized taking, a Class A felony, and with being a fugitive from justice, which originated from the charge of third-degree larceny, the department said.

A Class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years in state prison.

The Nashua PD said Vazquez refused bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court-South on Wednesday.

According to police reports, in September 2021, members of the Nashua PD's Uniformed Field Operations Bureau responded to the report of a theft at a business in the Pheasant Lane Mall, located at 310 Daniel Webster Hwy.

The reporting party said the merchandise stolen was valued at over $1,500, police said.

Detectives from the department's Criminal Investigation Division began an investigation into the matter and they identified Vazquez as having been involved in the alleged theft, the Nashua PD said.

The department said it applied for and was granted an arrest warrant, and Vazquez was taken into custody by members of the Uniformed Field Operations Bureau on Tuesday.
