Attorney General Investigating 'Suspicious' Chestnut Street Death

Police are looking for tipsters in a suspicious death investigation.

Nearly 24 hours after a report of a dead body on Chestnut Street, few details are confirmed. The New Hampshire Attorney General's office released the following press release Sunday afternoon:

Joseph Foster and Nashua Police Chief John Seusing announce that they are investigating a suspicious death. The body of a deceased adult female was discovered in an apartment located at 32 Chestnut Street in Nashua on Saturday, July 20, 2013. The identification of the deceased person will not be released until after the autopsy is completed on Monday, July 22, and the deceased’s next of kin are notified. 

The investigation is active and ongoing, and being handled by Senior Assistant Attorney General Janice Rundles. No further information is expected to be released until late Monday.
