Boy Injured While Crossing Street in Hudson
A 13-year-old suffered non-life-threatening injuries Thursday.

A 13-year-old by was injured Dec. 12 while attempting to cross Webster Street in Hudson.
According to police on Dec. 12, 2013 at 3:05 p.m., members of the Hudson Police Department and Hudson Fire Department responded to the area of E & A Mart, located at 187 Webster Street for a reported collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian. Upon the officers arrival, it was determined that a 1996 Honda Civic, driven by Lucas Dube, 20, was traveling south on Webster Street approaching E & A Mart. At the same time, a pedestrian attempted to cross Webster Street from the E & A Mart, and Dube and the pedestrian collided. The pedestrian was identified as a 13 year old male, whose identity is being withheld at this time.
The 13 year old boy was treated on scene by the Hudson Fire EMT’s and
transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. It is expected that the boy will be released from the hospital later this evening.
A portion of Webster Street was temporarily reduced to one lane during the accident investigation. The accident remains under investigation by the Hudson Police Department Patrol Division.
