City's Snowshoe Program Set to Begin Jan. 8

Snow permitting, of course.

The Nashua Parks & Recreation Dept., in partnership with the Nashua Senior Activity Center, will be hosting a Snowshoe Program this winter beginning Wednesday January 8, 2014 (or when there is snow on the ground thereafter).

The Snowshoe Program will run Wednesdays at the Whipple Street entrance to Mine Falls& Fridays at the Lincoln Park Entrance to Mine Falls. All snowshoe walks start at 10 a.m. beginning January 8. The program will run through February depending on snow cover.

Participants will need to provide their own snowshoes and dress in layers with warm clothing. This is a fun way to enjoy the outdoors in winter and make some new friends in the process.
