Facing Extinction, Nashua Local WCYN-TV Fights Back

Local TV station pink-slipped by Comcast.

Will the little local station that could, WCYN-13, be able to survive its newest challenge – rising above the pink slip from Comcast and removal from the current broadcast schedule? 

That is the question raised by this story in the New Hampshire Union Leader by reporter Dave Solomon. 

Husband and wife team Gordan Jackson and Carolyn Choate learned last week that Comcast was preparing to drop MyTV Channel 13 from its lineup, effective Aug. 15. The couple is reaching out to local and state officials and business leaders – and the community at large – asking for support to save the station.
