Hey, I just made that up, but it's true - starting Monday Dec. 16 you can park for FREE on the first floor of the High and Elm Street Parking Garages through Wednesday Jan. 1, 2014.
The City will forego parking meter collection enforcement for all metered spaces in the garages, which are located on the first floor. Upper floor spaces are always free after 6 p.m. and all day long on Saturdays and Sundays.
