Sorry, folks. The Dec. 12 auction of the Frank E. Anderson House at 90 Concord St. is cancelled, after a buyer made an offer on Tuesday the owner couldn't refuse.
The pre-auction sale was announced Wednesday by auction house J.J. Manning.
"This was, by far, the most response we've had to an auction preview in the past three years," said Justin Manning. "We had 300 people come out for the tour, and even if 90 percent of those were curiosity seekers, the other 10 percent were serious buyers. That's quite a response."
The new owner and sale price will be released once the deal is finalized.
"The clock started ticking on it, and the buyer now has 45 days to close," Manning said.
