Hudson Crash Destroys Utility Pole, Causes Power Surge, Sparks Fire
Public Service of NH was working to restore power following the crash, fire officials said.
Hudson Police and Fire were investigating an accident at about 1 p.m. in the area of 80 Derry Road that "destroyed" a utility pole and caused a power outage that in turn created a surge in an a heating and ventilation unit at the 102 Plaza to overheat, sparking a fire at the Backstreet Bar and Grill, according to Hudson Fire officials.
