Man Arrested for Hiding Baggie of Heroin from Police

Police were responding to a report of an overdose. The man who overdosed is expected to survive.

A Hudson man was arrested for trying to hide a baggie of heroin from police responding to a report of an overdose on Sunday.

Around 10:16 p.m. Sunday, members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operation Bureau arrested Michael Cunningham, 26, of 9 Pinedale Avenue, Hudson, on one count of falsifying physical evidence, a Class B felony.

Officers had responded to a residence on East Pearl Street for a report of an overdose. Upon investigation, it was discovered that Cunningham had concealed a baggie containing heroin in an attempt to hide it from officers.

The man who overdosed was transported to Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Cunningham is being held on $2,500 cash or surety bail pending arraignment in 9th Circuit Nashua Division District Court on Tuesday.
