Merrimack Man Held on Felony Habitual Offender Charge

Michael Clark was arrested in Nashua on Friday morning.

A Merrimack man pulled over on the F.E. Everett Turnpike by Nashua Police has been arrested on felony level charges of driving as a habitual offender.

Michael Clark, 57, of 6 Jennifer Lane, Merrimack, was stopped by Nashua Police on the Everett Turnpike at 8:06 a.m. Friday. When doing a records check, police discovered Clark was certified as a habitual offender. Due to the fact that he has prior misdemeanor convictions, Clark's charges were elevated to a class B felony.

Clark was held at the Nashua Police Department on $2,000 cash bail pending his arraignment in Nashua's district court. He faces the possibility of up to 5 years in prison and fines.
