Nashua Firefighters Arrive To Heavy Fire Coming From Crown St Home

Firefighters contained the fire, preventing it from spreading to adjacent structures. Several people were displaced by the fire.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue dispatch center received multiple reports of a fire at 6A Crown St. Saturday night.

Nashua Fire Engine 4 arrived just before 11 p.m. from the nearby Crown Hill station and encountered heavy smoke and flames at the rear of the home. The fire had spread into the attic, necessitating an immediate and coordinated response from Nashua Fire Rescue teams. Firefighters deployed two hoses to combat the blaze, tackling the flames outside and inside the residence. The quick action contained the fire and prevented it from spreading to neighboring structures.

The Nashua Fire Rescue Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate the origin and cause of the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the occupants or firefighters involved in the response.

The American Red Cross was also summoned to assist six displaced residents and their pets due to the fire damage.

NFR Deputy Chief Glenn Telgen emphasized effective teamwork: "The collaborative work of 30 personnel, along with the support of additional units, highlights the commitment of Nashua Fire Rescue to protect the community and ensure public safety.”

The fire is still under investigation, and the Nashua Fire Marshal's Office has yet to release details regarding its cause and origin.
