Nashua Police Arrest Man In Connection With May Robbery
Justin Dutton already was in custody on an unrelated crime and now is charged with theft by unauthorized taking, which is a Class A felony.
NASHUA, NH — A 40-year-old man, already in custody for an unrelated crime, was arrested Monday in connection with a May robbery, the Nashua Police Department announced.
Justin Dutton, of no fixed address, was arrested at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and charged with theft by unauthorized taking, which is a Class A felony, according to police. A Class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years in state prison.
Police said Dutton refused bail and remained in custody at the county jail. He was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at the Hillsborough County Superior Court-South, the Nashua PD said.

According to police reports, on May 21, 2022, members of the Nashua PD's Uniformed Field Operations Bureau responded to a residence in the city for the report of a theft.
The Nashua PD said the reporting party identified Dutton, who was known to them, as the primary suspect in the alleged theft.

Detectives with the department's Criminal Investigation Division opened an investigation into the case, the Nashua PD said. The detectives identified Dutton as being involved in stealing items that totaled more than $1,500, according to police.
The Nashua PD said it applied for and received an arrest warrant, which charged Dutton with theft by unauthorized taking.
Officers arrested Dutton on the outstanding warrant on Monday, police said.
