Nashua Police Conduct Motorcycle Noise Patrol
Nashua police and New Hampshire State Police conducted a patrol for noise violations related to motorcycles and vehicles with loud engines.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police this week conducted a noise patrol on Main Street Friday night for loud motorcycles and other vehicles. New Hampshire State Police assisted in the patrol.
"This enforcement operation was conducted to educate and mitigate loud noise emissions emanating from motor vehicles and motorcycles," Nashua police Lieutenant Thomas Bolton said in a statement. "This operation was conducted to educate operators on the state laws and local city ordinances regarding loud noise emissions in an effort to deter future violations."
The patrol was held on Main Street to the large number of pedestrians and restaurants.

Bolton added, "The Nashua Police Department urges ... citizens and local business owners to contact the Nashua Police Department should they have any traffic or quality of life-related complaints."
