UPDATE: Death Of 58-Year-Old Man Under Investigation In Nashua

NASHUA, NH—Nashua Police detectives are at a multi-unit building on Kinsley Street near the corner of Wilder Street.

Parts of the building are cordoned off with police tape, and a Nashua officer and detectives were seen entering the building, and leaving with an item in a bag typically used for collecting evidence.

Nashua Police, Nashua Fire Rescue, and AMR ambulance responded to the address at 11:30 p.m. for a report of an assault, according to police.

Michael Garrity of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office said in a statement, "We are aware of and are actively monitoring a death investigation in Nashua. It is a Nashua Police Department investigation at this time. We would refer you to Nashua Police for any public updates.”

Nashua Police Sgt John Cinneli said that the person who died is a 58-year-old man, and an autopsy is scheduled for later today; more information will be released when appropriate.

No one is in custody, and Nashua Police say there is no threat to the public.

While police tape blocks a portion of the sidewalk on Kinsley Street, the streets in the area remain open and unobstructed.
