Nashua Woman Arrested After Being Accused Of Selling Cocaine

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua woman accused of selling cocaine was arrested Thursday after a monthslong investigation, the Nashua Police Department said.

Myrna Rose, 52, was taken into custody at 8:10 a.m. at her home by members of the Nashua PD's Problem Oriented Policing United.

The Nashua PD said that at the time of her arrest, Rose was found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine.

During the execution of a search warrant within the residence, members of the department's Narcotics Intelligence Division also located cocaine and evidence of cocaine sales, police said.

Rose has been charged with three counts of sale of a controlled substance (cocaine), a special felony, one count of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, a special felony, and one count of possession of cocaine, a Class B felony, according to authorities.

The suspect was held on $7,500 cash bail pending her Friday arraignment in the Hillsborough County Superior Court-Southern District, police said.

The Nashua PD said its investigation into Rose's alleged drug-related activities was conducted by its Narcotics Intelligence Division with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The department said that during the investigation, it learned that Rose was involved in selling illicit narcotics within Nashua.

Based upon the information discovered during the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Rose, the Nashua PD said. The department also was granted a search warrant for Rose's residence.
