Masked Trio Assaults Rooming House Resident
Police expect more arrests in this assault and burglary at the Temple Street Hotel.

Luis Medina, 34, of 19 Amory Street, 2nd Floor, Nashua, was arrested Jan. 20, on two charges – second degree assault; and burglary, both class B felonies.
On January 19, 2014, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Nashua Police officers responded to 23 Temple Street for a report of an assault. Officers further learned that three masked males had entered the apartment of a 40-year-old male and struck him several times with a construction level.
Members of the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the case and identified one of the suspects as Medina. There is an active arrest warrant for a second individual. The investigation is ongoing.

The victim was transported to the Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries and released.
A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years in the New Hampshire State Prison, exclusive of fines. Medina is being held at the Nashua Police Department on $7,500.00 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on January 21, 2014.
