Sidewalk Project Update: Expect Main Street Lane Closure
Your weekly progress report.

Weather continued to be a challenge the week of July 8, but we installed the brick, bollards, gates and wiring on the crosswalk on the Main Street Bridge. From the City of Nashua's official website, under Main Street Sidewalk Project:
The city finished pouring the concrete pads, planted four trees and plants, and continued the brick work on the West side of Block 2.
For the week of July 15: The city will pressure wash and seal sidewalks, continue with the brick work and plantings. Also, the city will prepare the East side for new sidewalks including the removal of bollards, light poles and meters. Installation of three new catch basin structures is planned on the East side. The gas company will be replacing gas lines at 98 and 100 Main Street which will require the closure of one lane.
The city will do its best to limit the obstruction of parking and disruption to businesses. Unfortunately, it is necessary to take parking spaces where we are working. Please do not hesitate to contact Director Lisa Fauteux or Andy Patrician, Operations Manager, on site or at 589-3140 with any concerns.
